Early hominid fossil Ardi

Ardipithecus is the the most recently unveiled fossil of an early hominid believed to have lived 4.4 million years ago. I am just discovering how its challenged the conventional ideas about our common ancestors. One of the upshots, people believe, is that our common ancestor with chimps was much similar to us than to chimps (not just physiologically but also socially)!
