Parrots, the Universe, and Everything

This probably ranks with that Sapolsky video as the most I’ve ever enjoyed listening to someone talk.

If you want to read more about his adventures with wildlife conservation, I recommend his book Last Chance to See (co-written with zoologist Mark Carwadine). It has a uniquely Douglas Adams view towards living things, is both completely hilarious and depressing, and is the reason that I have a great affinity for the humble Kakapo.
