Rutgers Summer School in Evolutionary and Population Genetics

Interesting summer school at Biomaps, from June 15-17. There should be some great talks and I recommend going to see Robert Trivers (author of ‘Genes in Conflict’, which is sort of ‘Selfish Gene’ on steroids). He’s also known to be quite a colorful personality and I expect that some feathers will be ruffled. :)

Apparently you need to register to attend (free) .

Course Description

The course is a three-day intensive investigation of evolutionary and population genetics. There will be sessions covering new research directions in protein evolution, human evolution, mathematical modeling and evolutionary genetics of model organisms.
